Duracell sponsored a promo through Twitter to have Patrick Willis (from the San Francisco 49ers) to help people around the city for one day. A recruiter from Jobspring tweeted and won a favor from the famous Linebacker to come into our office on Friday, June 8th and give everyone an inspirational speech!
It was a great opportunity for us and we now have a signed poster ready to go up in the lobby! Whether you're a football fan or not, Patrick Willis really is an inspiration and a talented leader on and off the field.

We always love going to various events through out the city, and decided to finally start our own. So back in April Jobspring San Francisco threw our first ever Tech in Motion: San Francisco event!
Even we couldn't believe how well it went! We had over 200 RSVP's, met tons of great local technologists and networked our faces off!
Check out some pictures from the event below:

Just last week Jobspring OC hosted our 2nd Tech in Motion OC Meetup. Through the hard work and determination of both myself and all my recruiters, we managed to get over 90 RSVP's for this event.
Our Meetup featured Elmer Thomas who is a Developer Evangelist coming out of Sendgrid. His presentation on Personal Productivity of Developers caught the eye of not only our candidates, but other members who use Meetup as a way to network.
The subject was interesting, the food hot, the drinks plentiful, and there were a ton of techies looking to have good conversation. All in all, I would say that since we have begun hosting these Meetups, my appreciation for good marketing and networking has increased exponentially! I can't wait to get started on our next Tech in Motion OC event!!
Our Tech In Motion: NYC Meetup has finally reached 300 members! We are extremely excited to have had so many NYC Techies join us in the past few weeks, especially with our upcoming event on June 27th- "Show & Tell: The Story Behind the Startup". It will take place at Pivotal Labs in Union Square at 6:30PM.
Come see three of NYC's hottest startups present their technical road map from idea through execution. You'll learn directly from CTO's exactly what languages, frameworks and environments they're using and why they're using them. It will be an exciting, interactive and highly technical discussion about the trials and tribulations of building a startup in today's fast-paced technical landscape.
If you're in NYC: Join other NYC Techies for GREAT conversation, networking, and fun!

Everyone having a great time at Tech in Motion!
Lots of great networking!
Meet our Jobspring Chicago softball team! Here's part of the crew after our team played last week. It's finally feeling like summer weather and what better way to celebrate the start of the season than to play a team sport? Tim even brought his baby girl to help cheer us on!
