Ruby on Rails Developer (full-time)
A growing leader in small business technology is seeking a full-time Ruby on Rails engineer to join the team in their San Francisco office, paying $130,000 to $150,000. This person will be bringing new and creative solutions to the advancement of the product and will engage in the full development life cycle, from specification review to product adoption. As a core developer here, you’ll take ownership of features and projects, working with other developers and product managers to evaluate, design, and implement from top to bottom. Your primary responsibility will be to design and develop ruby micro-services and applications, and to coordinate with the rest of the team working on different layers of the infrastructure. If you are a self-motivated individual who is filled with inspiration and isn’t afraid to take initiative, this job is the one for you. They work in an agile, iteration-ÃÂdriven way using tools like Github, CircleCI, Slack, Jira and more. Beyond hands-on coding, this person will be pushing the organization forward in regards to new infrastructure while supporting their design principles: extensibility, configuration, usability, openness, and scalability. Required Skills & Experience
· 3+ years of Ruby development creating API
· Excellent database experience: MySQL, PostresSQL
· Experience with Rspec
· Experience with Docker and AWS infrastructure
