Help Desk Engineer

A growing start-up company in Boston is looking for a Help Desk Engineer to help support their Windows environment. Your daily responsibilities will include maintaining Windows and Exchange servers, as well as Active Directory administration for the company’s users. Part of this job includes providing direct support and technical assistance for the company’s clients so a positive attitude and excellent communication skills is a huge plus!

You will be working closely with an experienced support team and have the opportunity to assist with new implementations and technology projects. This is an excellent role for someone looking to build their technical skill set and grow their interpersonal skills. This is a full-time role that can pay up to $60,000.

Required Skills & Experience

·         Previous experience with administration in a Windows environment (2008 or 2012)

·         Experience with Active Directory

·         Familiarity with Exchange or 0365

·         Exposure to virtualization (VMware or V-sphere)

·         General network troubleshooting skills

·         Web server experience (IIS)

Desired Skills & Experience

·         Prior experience with SQL databases

·         Exposure to Linux (RedHat, CentOS, Ubuntu)
