Senior Help Desk Engineer

Established consulting agency in New York City is seeking Windows Support Engineer. This consulting firm has clients throughout the TriState area and needs a Windows Support Engineer to work for one of their top clients that is based in Manhattan.

 

This Windows Support Engineer will work with an already existing team. This Support Engineer will be responsible for all level 1/2 support and be responsible to work on any new projects that are rolled out by the client. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a support environment, be comfortable communicating with users, and be solutions oriented.

 

Responsibilities:

-          Provide Level 1 and Level 2 support for Windows desktops

-          Light administration of Active Directory and Exchange

-          Respond to daily technical issues

 

Required Skills:

-          Expert working knowledge of Windows XP/7

-          Experienced with Windows 2003/2008 servers

-          Excellent communication

-          Ability to learn quickly

 

Pluses:

-          Light exposure to Active Directory and Exchange
