Desktop Support Engineer

A major Private Equity firm managing over $30 billion in assets is looking for a Desktop Support Analyst to provide Tier 1 Support to their employees located in their office, located in central SF. This Desktop Support Analyst should have 2 years of professional experience support end users in a professional environment. The ideal candidate should be strong with Microsoft, Windows, Printers, tablets, Video conferencing systems, etc., and be passionate about customer service.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 2+ years experience in a Desktop Support or Help Desk technician role
  • Ability to support Windows 8 and above
  • Active Directory
  • Microsoft Office
  • Troubleshoot printers and video conferencing systems
  • Troubleshoot remote access systems like RSA SecurID, Citrix or Cisco VPN
  • Maintaining Cisco VoIP phones
  • Provide excellent customer service experience
  • Prior experience working in the financial services experience (Hedge Funds, Private Equity, Banks, etc.)
  • Strong documentation skills
  • Bachelor’s degree

Desired Skills & Experience

  • Ability to troubleshoot Windows servers
  • Knowledge of ITIL methodology
  • Exchange or Office 365 experience
  • Certifications such as ITIL, MCSE, MSP, etc.
