Senior IT Specialist/Help Desk (Windows, Mac, Active Directory)

A large SAAS company in Orange County is growing and has an immediate opening for a Senior IT Specialist/Help Desk professional to add to their corporate IT team for a 6 month contract to hire opportunity. The company is looking for a highly motivated self-starter, who is capable of working with minimal direction and guide the team in the right direction of handling the corporate IT environment.  The candidate will have the opportunity to work on a next generation award winning product using the latest and greatest technologies.

This candidate will be supporting their 500+ users, handle ticketing issues, add/delete users through active directory, and handle password recovery to name a few requirements for this role. As an IT Specialist for the Corporate IT department, you will be responsible for working directly with the end users providing the first and second level of support.  You will complete assigned tickets maintaining the department SLAs for all IT tickets, while providing excellent customer service.  You will be troubleshooting both Windows and Macs in the environment.

Required Skills & Experience

  •  Configure PCs and Macs for new employees through the imaging process
  • Add / Remove end users from the phone system
  • Troubleshoot and resolve end user issues in a mixed Windows / Mac environment
  • Troubleshoot and resolve printer issues
  • Administer Active Directory: Adding / Deleting users, Password Resets, Add / Remove end users from O365
  • Run the “All Hands Meetings”
  • Purchasing of IT equipment
  • Participate in IT Operations projects as the needs arise
  • Experience using an IT ticketing system
  • Experience using remote desktop tools
  • 5+ years in an IT desktop support role or similar
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Basic understanding of network infrastructure
  • Experience with MDM Solutions, Server Monitoring Solutions, Backup Solutions, and Managing SSO Applications
  • Expert knowledge Microsoft Products including Windows, Office Suite

  • Windows / Linux Server Administration
  • VMWare VCenter Administration
  • Customer service oriented personality
  • Passionate personality about supporting the corporate IT environment
