Java Developer

This publicly traded insurance company in West Los Angeles provides property and life reinsurance solutions. They are looking for a mid-level Java Developer to develop and maintain the systems that are supporting the reinsurance procedures and process.

This position requires a very talented developer to develop and design web and service based systems. There are over a dozen different Java projects that this company is working on related to both finance and insurance.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 3-6+ years of Java software development experience
  • Proficient with Spring and Hibernate
  • Extensive experience with REST, SOAP and Oracle

Desired skills & Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience
  • Experience with NoSQL – preferably MongoDB
