WPF Engineer - Device/Hardware Focus
Calling all software engineers who are passionate about life sciences and device industries! We have partnered up with a leading biomedical research firm located in Markham, and their development team is growing.
The ideal candidate has a background in medical devices, chemistry, biology and developing complex applications for these environments.
On a day to day your applications, built in C++, C# and WPF, will be assisting the researchers in their work, analyzing data, optimizing algorithms and writing new algorithms from scratch, and more! This role is heavily focused on R&D.
This company will be hiring on a contract basis over the holiday season, and looking to extend after the first 6 months.
Required Skills & Experience
- 5+ years of experience working with C#/C++ in a professional setting
- WPF, MVVM
- Embedded Systems/Controller development experience
- Education in Computer Science (Bachelors or higher)
Desired Skills & Experience
- Exposure to mass spectrometry or biology
- Exposure to medical devices

- Competitive Pay: Up to $55/hour
- Contract Duration: 6 – 12 Months, possibility of conversion
