Senior Performance Test Engineer
An international publishing company that focuses on education-based resources is looking for a Senior Performance Test Engineer to join their established team. This Engineer is going to be working on an early childhood education project.
The team is looking for this Engineer to join on a six-month contract-to-hire role. The team is targeting a candidate with a strong background with Performance Testing tools, ideally someone who has experience working with tools such as JMeter or BlazeMeter. This role will be largely focused on Performance Testing, but any Automation Testing experience within a Selenium framework will be a plus.

- Performance Test Requirements gathering (Test cases, data, Env. )
- Plan and Design the load model and tests upon all requirements.
- Create all Use Case Scripts with JMeter/Blazemeter.
- Execute Performance Tests in Blazemeter providing team ongoing feedback on performance.
- Analysis the Performance Test result with APM tools
- Recommend tuning points based on testing and application analysis.
- Document all test cases, load models, test runs, results and analysis.
- Experience with Performance Testing tools like: JMeter or LoadRunner or Blazemeter.
- Experience script writing and test execution.
- Experience using Analysis tools like: NewRelic and Sumologic
- Ability to analyze applications under load to determine tuning points.
- Competitive Pay: Up to $65/hour, DOE
- Contract Duration: 6 Months
- Potential to be extended or flip to full-time
